SQL Server staging database connection screen

Specify your connection to the source and target staging databases to enable SQL Tran to create your target objects directly and use the testing framework.

Important: Do not use production databases as staging databases - testing framework writes to the staging databases as part of the testing process.

The difference between target staging and target production connections are in what SQL Tran writes. For staging database SQL Tran creates objects with all the SQLTRAN comments but for production the DDL is clean and free of such comments.
